Deletion. The name of the sportsperson is "Bajrang Lal Takhar" and not "Bajranglal Takhar" (185000+ google hits for the former and 3000 hits for the latter). So, the current article should be moved from "Bajranglal Takhar" to "Bajrang Lal Takhar." However, this cannot be done till such time that the existing redirect at "Bajrang Lal Takhar" is deleted.   • DJSasso's argument that redirects should only be created if there is a high likelihood the article will be created is, first of all, incorrect – the future creation of an article is not a reason for a redirect, but in any event, the hockey player is on track for a professional career, and therefore has a very high probability that he will someday meet the notability requirements for his own article.     • He was drafted in the 5th round. It is very common for someone drafted that low to never reach the levels required to meet notability. If he were a 1st or 2nd round pick I might be more inclined to agree with you.   • It actually doesn't meet most of those (2, 3 & 4). It might possibly meet 5, however, if anything creating the redirect hinders rather than helps. Red links are good, and they help you know when an article might need to be created. By creating a redirect like this you take away the red link. I suppose I could see a marginal use for this to be redirected to List of Montreal Canadiens draft picks (as you did with Lance Bouma and the Flames list), but overall I don't see this as a useful redirect as "Brendan Gallagher" is only trivially mentioned as being on the roster on the Vancouver Giants article. Given that the majority of these redirects will never be turned into articles and will undoubtedly be forgotten, we are setting ourselves up for a mess of redirects that point to articles that will have no mention of the names being pointed to these team articles.
