Hello. The
Portuguese writer stubs
FYI, I have created and populated the stub template Template:Portugal-writer-stub and the associated category Category:Portuguese writer stubs, with the approval of Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals. —Swpb talk contribs 19:44, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Adding {{WikiProject Portugal}} to articles
Hi, I'm a member of this project but I haven't contributed with much since. Therefore, I wanted to know if it was ok if I added this template to every Portugal-related article I find (stubs included). I saw that it's one of the To-do items, so... I'm gonna do it as if I had a bot, except manually, starting from the categories. Parutakupiu talk || contribs 02:44, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Cinema stubs
The main Cinema of Portugal article has lots of list but no narrative. There are stubs at Comédia à portuguesa and Cinema Novo. I suggest that the stubs be merged into the main article. If that gets too long, the lists can be spun into other articles. -- Beardo 19:31, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia Day Awards
Hello, all. It was initially my hope to try to have this done as part of Esperanza's proposal for an appreciation week to end on Wikipedia Day, January 15. However, several people have once again proposed the entirety of Esperanza for deletion, so that might not work. It was the intention of the Appreciation Week proposal to set aside a given time when the various individuals who have made significant, valuable contributions to the encyclopedia would be recognized and honored. I believe that, with some effort, this could still be done. My proposal is to, with luck, try to organize the various WikiProjects and other entities of wikipedia to take part in a larger celebrartion of its contributors to take place in January, probably beginning January 15, 2007. I have created yet another new subpage for myself (a weakness of mine, I'm afraid) at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week where I would greatly appreciate any indications from the members of this project as to whether and how they might be willing and/or able to assist in recognizing the contributions of our editors. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 21:27, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Portuguese Names - Manual of Style
I believe it is part of the manual of style, but I would like to stress that unless a place, or thing has a commonly known name in English we should keep the Portuguese name as title of the article and then provide a translation, literal if possible, but sensible and an explanation in English, short and direct. as an example: "lápis azul" (blue pencil, which came to be a synonym of censorship) if someone googles for "lapis azul" articles about censorship in Portugal immediately appear, if you try "blue pencil" you get crayons.... Galf 10:04, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree with you. We need someone to write the PT manual of style, so that Portuguese names, like the example you provide are preserved from needless/harmless translations.--Saoshyant talk / contribs (please join WP:Portugal or WP:SPOKEN) 13:33, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- I came across "Anti-Dantas Manifest" which is at least butchering the title of the work. I here by propose that NO translation will be done into english of Names, Titles, Places, Offices where no historical translation exists. Names should be presented as: "Portuguese Name (meaningful translation of Portuguese name - ultra short explanation of name)" example: lapis azul (blue pencil - a symbol of censorship).
- Same applies for text quoted in line. Important expressions should be preserved as well, such as "a bem da nação(for the good of the nation)". Also, I believe that "proper" native speakers of English, especially if their have NO knowledge of Portuguese subjects should be invited as proofreaders as they can more easily spot Grammar issues but also concepts that are missing or unclear.
- See also: Wikipedia:Manual of Style (titles) Galf09:41, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- I would like to suggest the creation of a Manual of Style for portugal/portuguese related subjects. Parish
Another thing I came across "Parish" means "Paróquia", "freguesia" should be translated as "Civil Parish" as it is a civil, not a religious entity. As I explained above, over-translation leads to confusion, someone who sees a country divided in "parishes" would infer that clerics have civil power, which we know isn't the case. For instance, in Poland they use

Hi, I'm just popping in to query the B rating given to the above article. The article has some serious problems, it appears to be heavily loaded with original research and contains not one citation to dissuade this impression. The work needs a serious cleanup, copy edit and the attention of an expert, as the translation has created a host of issues which have added to pre-existing problems with the text.
I understand that this article is about a topic that is very important in Portugal, and I thought I ought to bring it to your attention so it can get cleaned up and represent its topic better :) I know you don't have to listen to one users opinion... but it certainly wouldn't rate B class with myself or any users whose assessment techniques I know of. My personal suggestion would be to de-rate it to start until it has been cleaned up. I hope you haven't taken offence at this idea :) SGGH 20:50, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Esmoriz Article
I live in Esmoriz and am Portuguese and am quite saddened by the quality of the article - so I'd like to ask this wikiproject to dedicate some resources to it. Currently, I have a map with Esmoriz's location and several photos of the city itself lined up to add to the article, and am going to obtain a coat of arms scan for an illustrator to digitalize. If anyone has relevant , properly sourced information I'd be extremely grateful if they could add it to the article - I'd like to see it as a good article, but I'm certain that due to the relative lack of importance that won't happen. Either way, if the article was improved, I'd be quite glad. Thanks. --84.90.46.116 19:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hey. I don't know Esmoriz, though I'm certain that I would like to help. I can tell you, however, that you should join Wikipedia and help out yourself. Wikipedia is run on basis of volunteer work. People like you and me. And we can only add information that we know to be certain. You live in Esmoriz, thus you are likely the best person to add information about it., don't you agree?--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 21:04, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- I do indeed agree, but right now I'm contributing through the IP account - I intend to make an account this week when I feel I have the necessary grip on wikipedia's basic rules and stuff - I'd rather not make an account completely clueless XD Esmoriz is a pretty small city, actually - I'll upload some pictures to an image host and show them to you (and the rest of the wiki project, while I'm at it). I'm also going to the city hall and get the coat of arms tomorrow or the day after, schedule permitting. Thanks for volunteering to help, though - much appreciated :D As I get information, I'll be sure to drop notice here --84.90.46.116 14:28, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

- Well, if there's a consensus in the project, which I guess there is, me, you, someone, marks the page for deletion. The instructions for this are:
- Insert the {{subst:afd1}} tag at the top of the page.
- Do not mark the edit as minor.
- Include in the edit summary the phrase Nominated for deletion: see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName replacing PageName with the name of the page you are proposing for deletion.
- Let's just wait a bit to see if someone is against going ahead with this.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 19:48, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good. Also, I've done some editing out on Praxe you might want to take a look at, I think that article has a lot of potential if we dedicated time to it (finding pictures and history of praxe is a pain, I might have to contact the actual Praxe Comission to get it :\) --Mad Tinman T C 21:21, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
- I just used the wrong template on this category. Silly me.
- Mad Tinman, if you have time you may want to consider helping out the Lusiadas article, which is a mess. And the Estado Novo (Portugal) too. I've assessed the Praxe article, by the way. Hope that helps. In Wikipedia, people value (too much, if you ask me) references. Finding references in English is usually the most important and difficult part of improving an article. It is difficult because we deal with Portuguese-related articles and there's so little about it in English.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 21:41, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Portuguese Creole Low Importance
Can someone explain to me how come Agualva Cacem classifies as more important than Portuguese Creole? (I am caucasian by the way).Luis v silva (talk) 07:16, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- The importance rating is given on how important a subject is to the project. The reasoning for this case is that some bastardization of the Portuguese language is not as important as a city in the mainland country. For instance Timor is also on the WP: PT list of articles, but rated as low importance for this project. If you disagree with the rating of those two articles, however, you should feel free to discuss it, and if we all reach a consensus the rating will change.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 15:40, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

- A cousin of mine used to or still does this. I'm not sure if it's illegal in here since he had to file a lot of paperwork to go out there with a shotgun and his dog. Of course you are looking for a source of this, which may be a little tricky considering most Portuguese hunting stuff doesn't show up online. Hopefully another editor may be able to actually offer some help.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 14:41, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, that may be a different form of hunting - coursing involves greyhounds or galgos, not shotguns. It may, for all I know, be a very small activity in Portugal - it wasn't all that big in the UK before it was made uillegal. MikeHobday (talk) 14:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- This really isn't my area of expertise, but I think I've found the Portuguese hunting law (link), or at least part of it, and article 89 is about hares (lebre, in Portuguese). It mentions several different ways of hunting, but since I know nothing about this suject, I don't know if it mentions coursing. If I had to guess, I'd say it may be the one called corricão (means something like running dog), because in article 80, number 3, it mentions that galgos can only be used for corricão hare hunting. Portugese witch trials
I'm interested in witch trials, and think it would be interesting to have cases from all countries in the subject. I know Portugal was a country with very few witch trials, but I have heard about some; in 1599, five people where burned as witches in Lissabon, another one a little later, and one by the Inqusition at Evora in 1626. If anyone know anything and would like to share the information by starting a stub, or at least give a tip on names to google, I would be grateful. I think it would be very interesting to read about! - The new C-Class represents articles that are beyond the basic Start-Class, but which need additional references or cleanup to meet the standards for B-Class.
- The criteria for B-Class have been tightened up with the addition of a rubric, and are now more in line with the stricter standards already used at some projects.
- A-Class article reviews will now need more than one person, as described here.
Each WikiProject should already have a new C-Class category at Category:C-Class_articles. A collection of Wikipedia articles is being collected together as Wikipedia 0.7. This collection will be released on DVD later this year, and will be available for free download. The Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team has made an automated selection of articles for Version 0.7.
We would like to ask you to review the articles selected from this project. These were chosen from the articles with this project's talk page tag, based on the rated importance and quality. If there are any specific articles that should be removed, please let us know at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.7. You can also nominate additional articles for release, following the procedure at Wikipedia:Release Version Nominations.
A list of selected articles with cleanup tags, sorted by project, is available. The list is automatically updated each hour when it is loaded. Please try to fix any urgent problems in the selected articles; a team of copyeditors has agreed to help improve the writing upon request.
We would also appreciate your help in identifying the version of each article that you think we should use, to help avoid vandalism or POV issues. These versions can be recorded at this project's subpage of User:SelectionBot/0.7. We are planning to release the selection for the holiday season, so we ask you to select the revisions before October 20. At that time, we will use an automatic process to identify which version of each article to release, if no version has been manually selected. Thanks! Article Importance Grading Scheme
The given examples for the label "high" and "mid" importance do not fit very well. Coimbra is one of the oldest universitiy-places in Europe. The civil jurisprudence of Brazil (the former portuguese Colony) is based on the Coimbra Code. Despite of her authenticity it would be appropriate if Amalia Rodrigues and Coimbra would change places in this ranking.

Image needs replacement - Cristina Branco
Hello all...
An image used in the Cristina Branco article, specifically Image:Cristina Branco.jpg, has a little bit of a licensing issue. The image was uploaded back when the rules around image uploading were less restrictive. It is presumed that the uploader was willing to license the picture under the GFDL license but was not clear in that regard. As such, the image, while not at risk of deletion, is likely not clearly licensed to allow for free use in any future use of this article. If anyone has an image that can replace this, or can go take one and upload it, it would be best.

We are always looking for new members to assist with reviewing the remaining articles, and since this project has GAs under its scope, it would be beneficial if any of its members could review a few articles (perhaps your project's articles). Your project's members are likely to be more knowledgeable about your topic GAs then an outside reviewer. As a result, reviewing your project's articles would improve the quality of the review in ensuring that the article meets your project's concerns on sourcing, content, and guidelines. However, members can also review any other article in the worklist to ensure it meets the GA criteria.
If any members are interested, please visit the GA sweeps page for further details and instructions in initiating a review. If you'd like to join the process, please add your name to the running total page. In addition, for every member that reviews 100 articles from the worklist or has a significant impact on the process, s/he will get an award when they reach that threshold. With ~1,300 articles left to review, we would appreciate any editors that could contribute in helping to uphold the quality of GAs. If you have any questions about the process, reviewing, or need help with a particular article, please contact me or OhanaUnited and we'll be happy to help. --Happy editing! The first theatre and the first actors
Hello! I am interested in theatre history, and I hope some one can answer my question. I wonder: which was the first theatre, with proffesional actors of both genders, in Portugal? I am also interested in the first known actor and actress, or the most famous actor and actress, of that theatre's early years. I have heard that the acting proffesion was barred for women in Portugal in the 18th-century. If so, when was it lifted? I hope someone can answer my question. I would be gratefull if You could answer on my talk page. Regards--Aciram (talk) 09:49, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Portuguese international artists
In the english version of the Carmen Miranda biography on wikipedia, an article that is considered as of high-importance to this wikiportugal-project, she is refered as portuguese-born brazilian. Since she never had brazilian citizenship and was in fact portuguese i belive that expression is wrong. Besides this issue i think that using portuguese-born expression tries to diminish the connection of her nationality to Portugal. Since she is only portuguese she should be refered as portuguese and not brazilian. Note that this is a reference to her nationality/citizenship and does not put at stake her importance to the brazilian music culture. since an artist may be from one nationality and be of great importance also to other country. One thing doesn't erase the other. 81.84.168.59 (talk) 03:37, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Colonial Act
The entry on the 1930 Colonial Act uses emotive language that is not really suitable for use in an encyclopaedia. As such, it is highly subjective and could be dismissed as being biased. Lusobrandane (talk) 13:53, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Present day
How is it possible to consider a 1988 (Herman José case) as a "Present day" example. The last part of the article that refers the current situation of Portugal freedom of speech and censorship is incomplete and does not reflect the reality of the country, gives a negative image that does not match reality. two good examples not mentioned were the law suits involving Alberto João Jardim and the local Madeira press and José Socrates and the country's press that clearly showed the nonexistence of censorship in Portugal. Compared to other countries Portugal doesn't have too many cases where someone claims to be silenced by some form of censorship. --213.138.224.65 (talk) 03:33, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Portugal articles have been selected for the Wikipedia 0.8 release
Version 0.8 is a collection of Wikipedia articles selected by the Wikipedia 1.0 team for offline release on USB key, DVD and mobile phone. Articles were selected based on their assessed importance and quality, then article versions (revisionIDs) were chosen for trustworthiness (freedom from vandalism) using an adaptation of the WikiTrust algorithm.
We would like to ask you to review the Portugal articles and revisionIDs we have chosen. Selected articles are marked with a diamond symbol (♦) to the right of each article, and this symbol links to the selected version of each article. If you believe we have included or excluded articles inappropriately, please contact us at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8 with the details. You may wish to look at your WikiProject's articles with cleanup tags and try to improve any that need work; if you do, please give us the new revisionID at Wikipedia talk:Version 0.8. We would like to complete this consultation period by midnight UTC on Monday, October 11th.
We have greatly streamlined the process since the Version 0.7 release, so we aim to have the collection ready for distribution by the end of October, 2010. As a result, we are planning to distribute the collection much more widely, while continuing to work with groups such as One Laptop per Child and Wikipedia for Schools to extend the reach of Wikipedia worldwide. Please help us, with your WikiProject's feedback!

Help with articles on forts
I ended up spending a lot of my day sorting out "Forte de São João" articles. There are a couple of jobs left over, which I can't do, if anyone is inspired to work on this:
- Have a look at the feast of redlinks at the new page Forte de São João (disambiguation) and do some translating from Portuguese to make them go blue.
- Review the 11 September 2010 contributions of Castelo de São João Baptista do Monte Brasil. So I'm sure there are some other little messes to clean up in that burst of stub creation.
- Portuguese Wikipedia is not immune from duplicate articles on Terceira Island, Azores, forts! I put the merge tags on pt:Forte de São João da Praia da Vitória and pt:Forte de São João (Santa Cruz), but if your Portuguese is good enough to do the merge (and you confirm that they are duplicates), go for it!

Eugenio de Andrade
Dear Sir(s), Madam(s): As an inheritor of the de Andrade name, I am concerned and shocked that Mr. Jose Fontinha, illustrious Portuguese Poet, is still referred to by the "de Andrade" moniker, which he chose after unsuccessfully attempting to establish himself as a poet.
It is deeply disturbing to read biographical sources where the de Andrade name, to which he has no LEGAL right of usage, is flaunted and referrred as fact. the aforementioned is deeply disturbing, as I have read deeply unflattering critical analysis, in Portuguese, of Mr. Fontinha's work, prior to his usurpation of "MY" family name. It would behoove everyone to please correct this ERRONEOUS usage of an illustrious and ancient Portuguese family name, by a well-known poet - regardless of the subsequent embarrassment. I sincerely hope that I do not need to use, for example, the surname "Camoes, to make my point.
But if I must, I shall, in the meantime, PLEASE, update this extremely Dishonest and misleading title - the Fontinha name is beautiful, Lyrical, and I am sure would be a wonderful addition to Portuguese Intellectual "Bellles-Lettres."

It seems that Portugal hade nearly no witch trials leading to death sentences, except for two: the Witch trial of Lisbon (1599), and the Witch trial of Évora (1626). Can anyone confirm this? Are they years correct? As the only two witch trials in their country, they should have articles here, but I can find no information of them. Have anyone heard of them? Portela Airport
Is Portela Airport in Lisbon proper? If not, what municipality is it in? Even though its address says "Lisbon"? WhisperToMe (talk) 17:09, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- That is a good question. The truth of the matter is that "Lisbon" airport only partially falls within the municipality of Lisbon (specifically in portions of the civil parishes of Charneca and Santa Maria dos Olivais, while the remaining portion (to the northeast) is within the municipality of Loures (likely Portela). I can officially confirm this with the CAOP administrative divisions once I get home. ;) Ruben JC (Zeorymer) (talk) 17:43, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

- Okay, rechecked my Google Earth overlay of the CAOP. It's definitive: a majority of the Lisbon Airport (including the administrative buildings) is located within the municipality of Lisbon. As I indicated above, the airport falls within the parishes of Charneca and Santa Maria dos Olivais, in the municipality of Lisbon, but the second half of the runway is within the civil parish of Camarate in the municipality of Loures. Just to specify, the TAP administrative and maintenance buildings are located within the civil parish of Santa Maria dos Olivais. I can offer you my KMLs for Google Earth just to assist. Articles for each freguesia
Is there an acceptability criteria defined? I could find quite a few articles "xxx is a freguesia of Lisbon." with no additional details. --Anneyh (talk) 14:42, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- While former editors have tried (adhoc) to create articles on all civil parishes within the Wikipedia, unfortunately, few did more then identify their existence and location. This is not to say that they are invalid. I have attempted, successfully, to increase content with sources/citations in my time on Wikipedia: it is a daunting process, as there are more then 1300 parishes, but I continue to integrate new content as I discover it. There is no "acceptability criteria", because all parishes are valid politico-administrative entities, much like the municipalities/cities of Ontario or the parishes of Louisiana (for example). All that must be done is have editors contribute more to the content, even copying/translating from Portuguese Wikipedia, with appropriate references and citations. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 16:50, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Do we really need two separate articles here? The info in Colonial Captaincies of Brazil is completely redundant. my inclination is to nominate Colonial Captaincies of Brazil for deletion; since even the search terms are very similar, we can dispense with even a redirect. Mafra National Palace
Article has no citations, and some pretty strange claims. If anyone knows anything please add references to it. You can read about the material I removed here:

From personal experience, the story about bats in Mafra is probably true, although clearly uncited. When at the Joanina Library at the University of Coimbra (a bit of architecture from the same period), the tour guides informed us of the technique of placing bats in boxes in strategic places within the walls. As the claim of the article indicates, they were released nightly to hunt insects. The unfortunate side affects was the constant bat-guano that fell on the stacks. Ergo, a team of cleaning staff. Once again, have not come across corroborating information. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 10:48, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
Dear Portugal experts: Here is an old abandoned Afc article that will soon be deleted as a stale draft. The references aren't in English. Is this a notable subject, and should the draft be kept and improved?

Leaflet For Wikiproject Portugal At Wikimania 2014
Hi all,
My name is Adi Khajuria and I am helping out with Wikimania 2014 in London.
One of our initiatives is to create leaflets to increase the discoverability of various wikimedia projects, and showcase the breadth of activity within wikimedia. Any kind of project can have a physical paper leaflet designed - for free - as a tool to help recruit new contributors. These leaflets will be printed at Wikimania 2014, and the designs can be re-used in the future at other events and locations.
This is particularly aimed at highlighting less discoverable but successful projects, e.g:
• Active Wikiprojects: Wikiproject Medicine, WikiProject Video Games, Wikiproject Film
• Tech projects/Tools, which may be looking for either users or developers.
• Less known major projects: Wikinews, Wikidata, Wikivoyage, etc.
• Wiki Loves Parliaments, Wiki Loves Monuments, Wiki Loves ____
• Wikimedia thematic organisations, Wikiwomen’s Collaborative, The Signpost
For more information or to sign up for one for your project, go to:

Administrative divisions of Portugal
[also posted on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Portuguese geography ] I think the Administrative divisions of Portugal article needs a complete overhaul. As far as I know, it does not reflect the current situation. If I'm correct, there are the following administrative subdivisions now:
- autonomous regions (Madeira, Azores)
- municipalities
- parishes (major reorganization in 2013, see link)
- intermunicipal communities and metropolitan areas (see link)
The intermunicipal communities and metropolitan areas apparently cover the same territories as the statistical NUTS-III subdivisions, for some with the same name (e.g. Cávado), some with a different name but the same municipalities (e.g. Região de Aveiro = Baixo Vouga). The article mentions more metropolitan areas than the two in the law text (Lisbon and Porto), see also Category:Metropolitan areas of Portugal. Probably the other metropolitan areas (e.g. Aveiro, Viseu) have existed (briefly?), but I can't find when they were established or abolished.
Apparently, districts are not units of local administration anymore, but they used to be. I couldn't find when they were abolished. I'm a bit confused about the regions: there's the NUTS-II statistical regions (e.g.
Is this correct, and does anyone have some additional references?
BTW, the new administrative map of Portugal is now available: link, and also an updated table of areas of municipalities and parishes: link. Markussep Talk 09:11, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

Comment on the WikiProject X proposal
Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) Harej (talk) 22:47, 1 October 2014 (UTC)

Infante Manuel of Portugal was never Count of Ourém, a subsidiary title of the Duke of Braganza and, like that, only used by the King of Portugal. Neither his father, King Peter II, nor his brother King John V granted him the title. Should be corrected for "Infante Manuel José of Braganza" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wirdung (talk • contribs) 19:37, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
WikiProject X is live!
Hello everyone!
You may have received a message from me earlier asking you to comment on my WikiProject X proposal. The good news is that WikiProject X is now live! In our first phase, we are focusing on research. At this time, we are looking for people to share their experiences with WikiProjects: good, bad, or neutral. We are also looking for WikiProjects that may be interested in trying out new tools and layouts that will make participating easier and projects easier to maintain. If you or your WikiProject are interested, check us out! Note that this is an opt-in program; no WikiProject will be required to change anything against its wishes. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
Note: To receive additional notifications about WikiProject X on this talk page, please add this page to Wikipedia:WikiProject X/Newsletter. Otherwise, this will be the last notification sent about WikiProject X.

March 2015 Art+Feminism event in Lisbon
Hi Portugal Wikipedians! I am reaching out to see if anyone would be interested in helping out with editing training for a Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism edit-a-thon being organized in Lisbon. We would appreciate any assistance in securing at least one experienced Wikipedian in the area, and I'd be happy to put you in touch with the organizers if you are able to help out. If interested, please reply on wiki or by e-mail at [email protected]. Cheers! -Thepwnco (talk) 22:23, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
