Scheduled Castes made up 19.31% of the population.[3] At the time of the 2011 census, 86.10% of the population spoke Hindi, 4.04% Punjabi, 1.95% Urdu, 1.72% Bhojpuri 1.13% Haryanvi and 1.08% Maithili as their first language.[7] AdministrationAdministratively, the district is divided into three subdivisions: Rohini Sub City, and Kanjhawala.[8]
