Thanks for patrolling Lakeside Press, and especially for doing it so quickly! But I don't see where more notes should (or could) be added, since every paragraph has at least one note which covers all the statements in it, many paragraphs have multiple notes, sometimes for just a clause. No CoLocate, sorry to disappoint but I just put that there because I wanted to express a wish of mine, and not show my location at the same time. I sadly do not own a RV-7 and I am too young to fly one... I just hope that someday I will; the RV-7 is the plane I want when I have the money, age, and time to become a pilot. Hi Airplane Maniac. Thanks for your help with new page patrol. Wikipedia really needs dedicated editors like yourself to help improve the quality of our content. I wanted to let you know that I think you may be adding cleanup tags to new articles a little too liberally. For example, on

you also added six cleanup tags. Some, such as dead end and uncategorized are trivial concerns for an article that was added only seven minutes prior.

As a rule of thumb, I recommend adding no more than 2-3 cleanup tags for any article, except in rare cases. This tends to be the most helpful approach in my experience. If you're up for some extra reading, here are some essays that discuss overtagging in more detail:

Apologies for the slow response, I've been busing. Vandals are one of the major issues in Wikipedia as anyone can edit it, people can disrupt it for their own personal gain or amusement. Vandalism is defined as a "deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." Of course, vandalism should be reverted as soon as possible and there are many ways to do this. The most basic tool is

Twinkle which allows you to swiftly warn and report users, nominate pages for deletion, tag pages, and request the protection among many other things. You will want to enable it in the gadgets section of Special:Preferences

.

When you have discovered a vandal you will want to revert their edits and leave a warning on their talk page. What warning you leave can depend on the severity of the vandalism. If you think the user is acting in good faith, a general note vandalism warning is appropriate. If they continue this behavior you can give them a caution warning which makes no assumption of faith. Warning and final warning are reserved for when an editor refuses to stop their previous behavior and sends a strong "cease and desist" message to them. In severe cases of vandalism (such as inserting personal attacks or expletives into articles) you may want to start off with higher level warnings. When it becomes clear that a user will not stop their behavior you should report them to

WP:AIV

. You can use the Twinkle menu and select "ARV" which will allow you to report users to various notice boards.

Some other warnings that are used often are the single issue notice {{uw-coi}}, for when you believe the user may have a conflict of interest, and the single issue warning {{uw-3rr}}, for edit warring editors. Hope this explains the basics, when you become more experienced there are semi-auto tools such as

Just stepping in here, over applying A7 is a very common mistake. Articles that don't fit under A7s very narrow requirements can be put up for PROD or AfD. Hi again. Not trying to pick, but i do urge you to be careful ~ as Winner 42 says, A7 is frequently misapplied (i have done it myself, i expect) ~ as you patrol. I notice that at least one other article you SPEEDY'd recently has been rapidly declined. It's just a matter of refining your judgement, eh?

Also, which is odd, you notified a user of a SPEEDY you didn't make. If SwagMasterParakeet91 is a new, potentially useful, editor, they are quite likely to be confused, at least, by this.
