Recent edit reversion
In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 16:15, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the

Dodgy quote
Hi, I only trimmed the quote here, I didn't remove the description from Kemp, so you've doubled this up. Also the quote doesn't actually finish; it stops halfway through, so it's just nonsensical at the moment. But the broader point is that a blog post on an advocacy website doesn't establish weight for repeating a quote.
- Cool, thanks Longhornsg (talk) 18:08, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Fyi, I meant that the material as it stands is duplicated, and the quote incomplete. I hadn't fixed it at the time, as it's a contentious topic and I didn't want to edit the same material twice. Iskandar323 (talk) 09:33, 28 September 2023 (UTC)]

Speedy deletion nomination of Safari (restaurant)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read
the guide to writing your first article.to help you create articles.You may want to consider using the Article Wizard
A tag has been placed on Safari (restaurant) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. MrBauer24 (talk) 19:13, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Hi, I recently created a Draft:List of Conflicts in the Land of Israel. There exist similar articles for a List of Conflicts in the Near East and a List of Conflicts in Egypt. I think it deserves to be approved, but there will likely be a discussion about it. If you think it should be approved, please voice your input! Have a great day! Notability isn't in dispute, but this content describes a cultural aspect of Hayes Valley, San Francisco, and is best used to expand this page which is currently well below the length thresholds that would warrant a split.

Hey!
Looks like there's quite a few similarities between the JInsider paragraph you added to Dear White Staffers and the source. Could you reword the close paraphrasing? thanks :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 05:12, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

Jay Ruderman page restructure
Hi Longhornsg, I noticed your recent addition to Jay Ruderman's article. I want to bring your attention my suggestion for a restructure and update of his page. Here you'll find my explanation of the changes to make the current article more encyclopedic. If you have a chance to read it over and you agree that it improves the article, I'd appreciate you implementing it. Thank you. LiatDo (talk) 09:51, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
