The 2015–16 Süper Lig (known as the Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons) is the 58th season of the Süper Lig, the highest tier football league of Turkey.

The season was named after Hasan Doğan, a former president of the Turkish Football Federation, who died in 2008.[2]

  1. ^ a b c Since the winners of the 2015–16 Turkish Cup, Galatasaray, were excluded from European competitions by UEFA, the Europa League group stage berth awarded to the Turkish Cup winners was transferred to the third-placed team (Konyaspor), the third qualifying round berth was awarded to the fourth-placed team (İstanbul Başakşehir), and the second qualifying round berth was awarded to the fifth-placed team (Osmanlıspor).
