Komondor pics

I have uploaded some pics of a male and female Komondor to commons - not very good pics, I'm afraid! The dogs are only one year old so do not have mature coats yet but they certainly are huge dogs. The male is apparently over 30 inches already. Search for Komondor as that's what I've labelled them.

I added that because that part was for a long time in the Tea (meal) article. When Logical Cowboy removed it, [1] with the motivation that it does not belong to the article tea as a meal, but rather to tea, I put that there, that´s all. Considering that it was in the article for a long time didn’t bother much to check it. I do not know who made the initial contribution. Hafspajen (talk) 12:22, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A face like fine porcelain.... Hello Hafspajen. Thanks for the 'wee wally dugs' - it's always nice to add a few pics to a talk page. Actually the etymology of 'porcelain' is rather memorable, I think; my dictionary states:

"from French porcelaine, from Italian porcellana cowrie shell, porcelain (from its shell-like finish), literally: relating to a sow (from the resemblance between a cowrie shell and a sow's vulva), from porcella little sow, from porca sow, from Latin".

Adds a whole new layer to the phrase above.... :) PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 01:23, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Sand-Covered Church

Do you have a reference for the tourism section - "The Sand-Covered Church is one of the most visited sites in Skagen. Travel agencies recommend the Church area for travel for recreational purposes." please? Otherwise it might be better to take that bit out for DYK as it will still be long enough as DYK wants a citation for every paragraph! I've 'real world work' to do today so won't be able to look for it, so I'm delegating.

SagaciousPhil - Chat 09:54, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply
]

Don't worry as it looks like that section was taken out; the article looks in good shape, so very well done! Everyone seems to have had a go at doing something on it so it has certainly caught people's attention.
SagaciousPhil - Chat 17:50, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply

Very, very boring stuff - sub editing and formatting lengthy specialist reports to try to knock them into reasonable shape. Some spelling is dreadful, for instance, wearing spelt wairing, then people use their own made up abbreviations that I have to guess what they are trying to say! Does 'eff.' stand for effortless, effective, efficient or something entirely different? Sometimes no punctuation is used at all throughout thousands of words strung together. Still loads of them to do but given up for the evening and will start again tomorrow!
I hope someone does the DYK review quickly, I can't see any problems as it meets all the DYK criteria.
