Sharkstooth Peak is a 12,468-foot-elevation (3,800-meter) mountain summit in Montezuma County, Colorado.[1]
Description
Sharkstooth Peak is located 17 miles (27 km) northwest of the community of
Hesperus Mountain 1.36 miles (2.19 km) to the southwest.[2] The mountain's toponym has been officially adopted by the United States Board on Geographic Names.[1]

Climate
According to the Köppen climate classification system, Sharkstooth Peak has an alpine climate with cold, snowy winters, and cool to warm summers.[4] Due to its altitude, it receives precipitation all year, as snow in winter and as thunderstorms in summer, with a dry period in late spring.
