Table

The location in which a colour reaction (or a lack of it) is noted is indicated in brackets. Note that an entry like 'Negative (cap surface)' doesn't indicate that a yellow colour is or isn't noted elsewhere, it is only quoting the information provided in the cited source. Where no location is given for the reaction this is left blank and where no reaction is noted for a particular chemical this is also left blank but in some cases this may simply not have been tested.

The usual concentration for KOH is 3-5% and unless otherwise stated these tests will be at this concentration. Sodium hydroxide (NAOH) can often be used instead of Potassium hydroxide (KOH) with the same result however if the description does specify NAOH this is noted here in brackets beside the reaction in the KOH column.

Bolete reactions too complex - split to seperate table from gilled?

Find reactions for rest of species on first nature. Agaricus dulcidulus listed as orange on wikipedia page but lacks any references.

'Species of Minores have a strongly positive yellow KOH reaction and positive orange Schäffer’s reaction on the surface of basidiome and context; annulus simple; anise or almonds smell.'
