    Anthomyiid fly

    Adia cinerella is a species of anthomyiid fly, a large and diverse family of flies whose larvae consume plant material, whether as leaf miners or in the stems and roots. Those species whose larvae feed on roots, especially those of the Delia genus, are often considered agricultural pests.
