The 2023 Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League (Chinese: 2023中国平安中国足球协会超级联赛) was the 20th season since the establishment of the Chinese Super League.[1] The league title sponsor is Ping An Insurance.[2][3] Wuhan Three Towns were the defending champions.

Club changes

Qingdao Hainiu returns to the division after a 9-year absence; Nantong Zhiyun competes in the Chinese Super League for the first time in the club's history. Guangzhou were relegated to China League One after a 12-year spell in the Chinese Super League. Guangzhou City were dissolved after 11 seasons in the top-flight.

Name changes

  • Henan Songshan Longmen F.C. changed their name to Henan in April 2023.[5]
