    California's 7th State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts. It is currently represented by Republican Josh Hoover of Folsom.

    District profile

    Before remapping necessitated by the 2020 census, the district encompassed the northern two-thirds of the city of

    Sacramento County, including the cities of Folsom, Rancho Cordova, and Citrus Heights, with Sacramento itself moved to the 6th Assembly District
    .
