United-Kingdom ponctual problems
- Train Network : While British Rail was privatized in 1996, Connex took over South-Eastern (Angleterre) networks. The british train context was marqué by the lack of investments for years, insufficient staff training and updating, insufficient network maintenance which leaded to numerous incidents or even accidents. us au matériel défectueux, des collisions dues à des red signals grillés par les conducteurs. This bad quality of service counted on la remise en cause de la présence de Connex and inspired between others the making of the movie The Navigators by Ken Loach.
So, Veolia Transport could bid for new franchises in Great Britain and is already operating several bus networks in the country.
