Nicopolis (Cilicia)

Nicopolis or Nikopolis (

Byzantine times.[1] It was founded near the site of the Battle of Issus, and is mentioned by numerous ancient writers.[2]

Its site is located near İslahiye in Asiatic Turkey.[1][3]
